What stake members have done
In 2023, West Stake held a supply drive to help outfit the newly renovated emergency domestic violence shelter; providing linens, kitchen and cleaning supplies for 14 units that supports over 90 families annually.

What the Church Humanitarian Department has done
Recognizing the significant financial needs to help complete the renovation of the only emergency domestic violence shelter in Clark County, the humanitarian department provided a cash grant to purchase larger items that were beyond the capacity of the West Stake members to provide.

In 2024, the humanitarian department provided a grant that supported the hiring of two on-call sexual assault advocates, including a bilingual advocate.
